The STEM Boys and Girls XC runners took to the fast course at Heritage High and never looked back on Saturday, Sept 13. Known as a fast and competitive meet, the highlight was Cooper Allen setting a new STEM school record for a Cross Country 5k, completing the course in 17 minutes, 1 second! Many Spartans ran personal bests, and in addition to Cooper, Tyler Marquez, Preston Martinez, Ben Yoder, Aiden Littlehorn, and Rey Ruiz all ran a 20 minute 5k or faster. Great day running Spartans!
