The High School eSports team had the honor of representing STEM at the Denver Fan Expo.  As part of the STEM booth, the team presented Mario Kart and Smash Brothers to Fan Expo guests.  Team members taught visitors how to play the games, improve their skills, and tricks of the eSport trade.  They represented STEM and the Athletics Department magnificently.   Way to go team!

It has been quite a year for STEM eSports! Participation has more than doubled; growing into one of the larger programs in our area. With that growth, has also come success, as 4 different Spartan eSports teams qualified for CHSAA State or Mountain Regionals, with our Mario Kart reaching the CHSAA sweet sixteen, and our Valorant team advancing to the final 8 of the Mountain Regional Tournament and the top team from Colorado. It is no wonder, that Coach Rachel Espinosa is also a current finalist for the PlayVS Coach of the Year!
