The Spartan Boys Soccer team celebrated Senior Night on Monday, October 6 with an 8-1 victory over league foe Twin Peaks Classical. The cool and wet evening did not put a damper on the Spartans in the game featuring our 5 graduating seniors. Scoring goals on the night were freshman Lucian Rohrbach,junior Cam Irish, and seniors Connor Winans, Adam Hunt, Matt Moore, and Luke Gottschall. Senior Dylan Aron narrowly missed a goal, but with the assist of the opposing goal keeper, was still responsible for a goal. Freshman keeper, Logan Sandhoff almost recorded a clean sheet, but with the help of the Spartan defenders, held the visiting Timberwolves to 1 goal on the night. The Spartans take to the pitch on Wednesday, Oct 8 at 4pm to complete the second half of an earlier game vs league opponent William Smith. STEM starts with a 5-2 lead in the game. Lets Go Spartans!
